General Information

The Congress

The Congress will be organized in Plenary Lectures, Debates and Plenary Sessions. Each session will include four or five speakers each presenting his scientific research in approximately 20 minutes plus 5 minutes discussion. Moreover, Special Sessions on Last Minute Hot Topics, Sponsored Symposia, Round Tables, Oral Presentations and Poster Sessions will be available.

CME Credits

The 16th World Congress of Gynecological Endocrinology was granted 16 European CME credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).

UEMS – AMA Conversion

The UEMS-EACCME® has mutual recognition agreements with the American Medical Association (AMA) for live events and e-learning materials and with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for live events only.
Physicians may apply to convert European credit into AMA credit by completing and returning the EACCME application, along with the appropriate application processing fee and documentation of the meeting Physicians have attended. Please check the UEMS website (www.uems.net) to ensure the activity attended is listed and marked as “Approved” before submitting the application. The credits are one-to-one

Scientific Societies Simposia

Scientific Societies members of the FISGE and any other scientific society operating in our field may propose an entire symposium at their own cost, suggesting titles, presentations, speakers and chairmen. The Executive Committee will examine the proposals for inclusion in the scientific programme with the possibility to include one extra speaker or a chairman of its choice. The deadline for submission is November 18th 2013.

Official Languages and simultaneous translation

English is the official language of the congress, and all lectures must be held in English. Simultaneous translation into other languages will be evaluated on the basis of the number of request for each language.

Pre-Congress courses

Two Pre-Congress Courses organized by ISGRE will take place on Wednesday 5th.

Rules for Poster presenters

  • Please come to the congress with your poster; maximum size: 90x90cm
  • Poster can be mounted starting from March 5th from 16.00
  • Poster session will take place on March 6th at lunch time
  • Poster must be unmounted before March 6th 18.00

Rules for Oral Presentation presenters

  • Oral Presentations will last about 8 minutes plus 2 minutes discussion
